Carolyn started her real estate career as a commercial REALTOR® back in New York in 1980. After three years in the commercial real estate world she decided to attend Law School. After graduating Carolyn worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the State of Massachusetts, practicing Criminal Law.

Carolyn moved to Charleston over seven years ago and was a substitute teacher in the Mt Pleasant schools for two years. Missing the business world she decided to become a loan officer, which gave her insight and knowledge into the financing side of real estate.

Carolyn has lived and remodeled properties in New York, Massachusetts, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Missing the “art of the deal” she became a licensed real estate Broker with Keller Williams in 2005. After meeting Diane Szoke they formed their own agent team. In 2007 Carolyn and Diane pursued their dream of opening up their own boutique real estate agency and Charleston Your Home was born. Charleston Your Home’s mission is our commitment to provide the highest level of service and support to our clients in this rapidly evolving high tech marketplace. From continuing education to staying abreast of the latest local and global market conditions, we guide our clients through one of the most important investments of their lives.

Carolyn’s background in real estate, the law, mediation, negotiation, and financing have solidified her understanding of the real estate business. Her focus is on residential properties, investment properties, land, and development brokerage.

Carolyn is currently completing her ECO Broker designation and hopes to pursue by year end her SRES - Seniors Real Estate Specialist designation and CIPS - Certified International Property Specialist designation.
